The village of Nabori lies about 10km. south of Larabanga, on the main route N7 to Damongo.

Nabori was originally settled by Kamara farmers from Larabanga.  Later, Fulani herders from Niger arrived and continue to practice animal husbandry.

Farming is the dominant economic activity -- cassava, yams, maise, millet and peanuts, etc. The Fulani cattle produce milk. From it, a typical cheese is derived, often fried and served warm.  There is also shea butter processing.

On a 1,5-hour excursion you will learn about life in this rural setting with its particular mix of peoples and activities.

The village is also home to a baobob tree of truly amazing proportions!
